With this belief comes the existence of "Astha Guest House".
Astha in itself means a belief. And the belief that we have a spare bed has inspired us to establish this guest house. The idea is not to use the commercial concept of guest house, but the idea is to change the entire concept of Guest House. We are here to make sure that our guests feel at home.
We have no costly decorations, no smart stewards to serve you, no team of chefs and sou chefs to cook for you. All we have is a simple, yet comfortable room, our house maids to serve you, my Mom makes sure you get the food of your choice, cooked at home, and my Father makes sure you are as comfortable as you were at your home. In all, you are not a guests but a friend to the family.
So, next time when you plan to visit our city, Jodhpur, remember, you have a family in there.

A car drive throughout the city(whatever your purpose of visit is),
Your clothes get washed and ironed - we like our friends when they look good,
Telephone and Internet facility to be in touch with your family,
Doctor on call - just incase you don't like my mom's cooking,
The information about the city and the state - you can trust my father's knowledge for that,
Bookings for your further trip - train/air/bus or hotel(because we know, Visits always give pleasure - if not the arrival, the departure.)

I stayed with the William's for six months, while working with an NGO in Jodhpur. I could not have asked for a better place to live. Mr. and Mrs. Williams are such kind-hearted and generous people. They made me feel like a part of the family and encouraged me to learn Hindi (as much as that was possible). They are incredibly accommodating and open-minded.

I stayed with the Williamses for 2 months and really enjoyed myself! The guest house is conveniently located near the main road and is in a fairly safe area. Both Uncle and Auntie Williams have really interesting stories to tell and really care about their guests. If you need a place to stay, do consider staying here.
